THE BRIEF

Better doesn’t start tomorrow, it starts today. And for nearly four decades, Equinor has quietly committed to better, powering U.S. communities through trusted energy partnerships. Despite their presence, they still remained unknown. With a New York offshore wind project on the way and CERAWeek 2025 on the horizon, Equinor sought more than visibility. They wanted to make a full reintroduction to earn the confidence of future partners and key decision-makers in the industry. They aren’t just another energy company promising new projects — they’re a global energy leader on a search for a better, more secure and sustainable energy future.

A visual and narrative anchor for their commitment to keep searching for better.

THE PROCESS

I adapted the design system of Equinor’s global campaign for the U.S. market, taking a minimal and photo-less approach. By leading with restrained color and leaving ample whitespace, each asset reflects the introspective nature of progress. The work spanned several months of pivots and policy shifts, evolving with each phase. Ultimately, the search for better was shared across OOH, digital, and social.
